Monday's Daydreams!

This holiday has been a lot of fun. We've been visiting family and celebrating late into the night. I've also been secretly plotting my new books to come out in 2013. I can honesty say with four boys in the house, I haven't gotten a lot done. I've had fun taking extra time to play games with the boys and just enjoying having everyone home. Today, we're making a rice krispie train and we'll be decoratng it with icing and candy. :o)

It's been six months since I started my writing journey with Siren Publishing. I'm super excited to see what my adventures for 2013 will be like! I've learned so much about my writing. I've appreciated all the feedback and those who have taken time to write a review of my work. Knowing what my readers like and what they want more of will only help me to become a better writer! So, don't give up on me yet! Diamonds are not formed over night. :)

I hope everyone has a safe, fun, and exciting 2013! May all your wildest dreams come true!

Thursday's Balancing Act!

I've been mostly hanging with the family and playing games over this holiday with them. It's been a ton of fun. I've been working on writing here and there too. :)

Training TJ comes out the end of January! Here's the back cover! Enjoy!

Late one night, SWAT negotiator TJ Raines and SWAT doc Parker Woods stumble upon a jumper on a bridge. With no time to wait, TJ knows he must act quickly. He never expects to have to save his best friend’s life too. With lives on the line, TJ knows he’s been given a second chance to have Parker as his Dom.

Parker knows something is up with TJ and it has nothing to do with the near miss on the bridge. Distracted by the undercurrent of want as they train together, Parker forces the situation out into the open. Parker longs to have TJ as his sub, but knows he must convince TJ he’s the right Dom to teach him what it means to be a sub.

Afraid to open his heart, TJ gives Parker his body to dominate. TJ knows he can trust Parker with his body, but can he trust him with his heart too?

Merry Happy Holidays!

I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas eve! It has snuck up on all of us around here. I'm so glad that my hubby went out to do most of the shopping on black Friday! That meant I only had to do little things here and there. I love buying the stocking stuffers. That's my favorite.

Merry Christmas to you! Thank you so much for reading my work and following me on my blog. I feel so lucky to share my work with you. :o)

Sinfully Sweet Saturday!

I'm an auntie again! I went to the hospital with my sister-in-law, Emma, today to meet my new niece. It was a lot of fun. Emma and I went to lunch afterward and spent hours catching up. We chatted about everything ... love, life, writing, family, and of course the new baby!

Here's a pic of all of us at the hospital today. We gave the baby a stuffed whale. I think she loved it.

We whispered lots of sweet things in the baby's ear. Of course, one being that we would spoil her rotten!

Thursday's Balancing Act!

I'm working on my frist round of edits for Training TJ. I hope to have my first read through finished by tomorrow. I love doing edits. I enjoy reading the feedback my editor gives me and seeing where I can improve the story. :)

Today, my little guy is sick. I'm hoping he feels better by Christmas. It's no fun to be sick for the holidays.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Wednesday's Word of the Day!

Everyone is so busy this time of year. It's nice to take the time to catch up with friends and family. The count down to Christmas began six months ago in our house. The boys are really excited. Last night, I finished all my Christmas shopping with one of my besties. We had dinner and then hit the shops. We got everything done in about three hours. :)

Today, I'm working on my WIP. I also need to work on my edits for Training TJ. Those are due back January 7th. There is so much to do, but I'm loving all of it.

Monday's Daydreams!

It's a rainy day here in Cincinnati. The temp is going to be 57 degrees. I love warm, rainy weather. It makes me want to curl up with coffee, a book, or my laptop. Today, I'll be working on my cover questionnaire for Training TJ. I'll also be working on my new work in progress. I have so many things I want to get done before the end of the year! There's never enough time.

Have a great Monday!

Sunday's Farm Report!

I've been hiding in my writing cave all weekend. I've been spending extra time with my family too. My boys are back at school this week for three days. It's hard to let them go when you want to hold tight to them.

Fabulous Friday

Today is my half birthday and my hubby's birthday! I'm rushing to get all my writing done this afternoon. We're celebrating tonight! There are not enough hours in the day.

Have a great Friday!

Thursday's Balancing Act

The final days before Christmas are always so busy. This weekend there are four birthdays we are celebrating, and my sister is graduating from university. It is impossible to find graduation cards in December. I had my pick of two. I also bought my Christmas cards. I'll have my five year old work on those tonight. I do need a little help if I'm going to reach all my deadlines!

Training TJ is set to come out at the end of January! Woot!

Have a great rest of the week!

Temptation Tuesday & Contest Fun!

Distraction is a temptation of mine. I love to work on lots of things and have to mentally hit myself over the head to keep on track. I have to give myself deadlines to meet. I've met one of my end of the year deadlines on a submission. I have one more to go. Not to mention, there are Christmas cards and presents to still be mailed and of course, I have lots more shopping to do!

Like I mentioned, distraction is a temptation of mine. I better get back to my WIP. I have one more deadline to make before I can get the Christmas cards done! Maybe, I'll have my boys write them all out this year! I'm sure nothing could go wrong with my five year old doing the job!

What's your temptation? Leave a comment and email address for a chance to win one of my e-books of your choosing!

The winner will be posted tomorrow!

Have a great day!

Monday's Daydreams!

My second training book is coming along nicely. Ryan is in love with a friend he's known casually for about five years. He couldn't get up the courage to ask his friend out. He's been burned in the past. Fate has other plans for them when work throws them together for the weekend. All I can say is that, Ryan is having a hard time keeping his hands to himself! They both are! :o)

The training series is a new M/M series that has BDSM themes. Have a great Monday!

Sunday's Farm Report

I have more shopping to do for my family. I can't believe that December is flying by. If I don't get to the store, all the stockings are going to be empty on Christmas! My sister and I are participating in a bad sweater exchange. My hubby is in charge of buying the sweaters as he has an eye for fashion! He really does. I'm the one that can't put anything but jeans and a T-shirt together.

Have a great week!

Sinfully Sweet Saturday!

I just got the news. Training TJ will be out in February! I'm super excited. I'm currently working on book two of the series! Woot! Woot!

Today, I'm off to celebrate with my hubby! We're going out to dinner. Have a great Saturday!

Thursday's Balancing Act!

My Christmas tree is up. The stockings are hung. St. Nick came by last night. My second book in my training series is coming along nicely. I should kick back with a cup of coffee and enjoy a nice evening. I'm going to zumba class tonight instead. The life of a writer can be isolating. It's important to get out and have fun and meet new people, even if you're sweating your ass off while you do it!

All week, I balance writing, children, laundry, family time, and all the other little details of life. Tonight, I'm doing something for me!

Have a great Thursday!

Today, I'm participating in The Next Big Thing Blog Hop!

What genre does your book fall under?

A. Contemporary, Classic M/M romance.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

A. Training TJ has been submitted to a publisher for representation. I'm in the submission process right now. :)

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

A. I had the idea for several months, but it wasn't until recently that I had time to write the story. So, a few weeks once I started writing.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

A. One of my favorite authors, Susan Laine, has been an inspiration to my writing! I love her work. She is an inspiration, a friend, and usually gets a sneak peek of my work! :o)

Monday's Daydreams!

I never imagined what life would be like as a full-time author. I really didn't know. I've always just written non-stop. I finish a story and then I go on to write the next. It all started after my first son was born. I needed something to keep my mind active while I was at home with him. He napped. I needed to write.

So, life as a writer for me is finding little moments throughout the day to write while I balance family life. That's what writing full-time for me is and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Have a great Monday!
